Early Childhood Development

Policy Forums

  • Minnesota Prenatal to Three Policy Forums.

“The success of our state depends on getting every child off to a great start. Many organizations and coalitions are working on plans across a wide variety of topics – from prenatal care to early learning, from home visiting to screenings, and more. The Prenatal to Three Policy Forums are intended to provide a space for early-childhood advocates, and those interested in this critical topic, to share their plans and build toward a unified agenda.”

Websites

  • Northside Achievement Zone.

“We commit to doing whatever it takes so that Northside children of color realize their unlimited potential academically and in life. We do this by partnering with schools demonstrating an ability to accelerate academic outcomes and community-based organizations that effectively provide whole family wrap-around supports. Parents support their children and actualize their families’ dreams by receiving partner services in addition to NAZ coaching, parenting education, and leadership training.”

  • Paces Connection

“Like most of you, when I learned about the science of adverse childhood experiences, I was blown away! A huge missing answer in my professional life clicked into place, and the disconnected puzzle pieces that comprised my personal life merged into a clear picture. Another AHA! that hit me not too long after I launched PACEs Connection was that the transition to healing-centered cultures based on PACEs science was not a three- or four-year endeavor. Depending on the community, it’s at least a 20-year transition, and more likely, a 30- to 40-year transition.”
